2008 Summer Semester - Now Enrolling!

The Summer semester of Problems with the Professor begins on Monday, June 2nd. While many educational institutions shut their doors for the summer, squatters rights prevent the Desoto Institute from doing the same, and we pass the savings in property taxes and liability insurance on to you!* Tune-in every Monday morning until the end of August and discover your new problem of the week!

What's in store for the Summer semester?

- A Look Back! – Many of you have been wondering what’s happened to past guests of the Problems With The Professor program (particularly the kids’ parents). Journey back in time with us, and then come back to the future as we update the problematic progress of last Fall’s class.


- More Problems! Problems with sunburn, faltering eyesight, endangered species, and a host of other annoyances that plague us! (Note: Due to a recent legal settlement with Bristol-Myers Squibb, we will not be addressing the recent outbreak of plague at the Desoto Institute.)


- The Problems With The Professor 4th of July Spectacular! – Celebrate America and the loopholes in its child-endangerment laws Professor style! While the list of celebrity guest star appearances is still being finalized, here are just a few who have indicated their interest!** - Ruth Buzzi, Lars Ulrich, Willie Tyler and Lester, Adam Rich, the dog from Fraiser, Henry Kissinger, Debbie Boone’s less-talented sister, and Mo’Nique Imes!


- Still More Podcasting! - Yes, nothing establishes you as member of the intellectual elite like watching the Desoto Institute of Problemology on your video iPod or cel phone on the bus-ride to work, in the sheriff’s holding cell, or wherever you spend quality time with your family!



*While we do pass the savings on to you, tuition will still rise 23% due to international monetary markets, tornado season, and the increased cost of wood inlays for the Professor’s yacht.

**All listed celebrities have indicated they have no interest in appearing. But we’re hoping at least one of them will do something so horrible they’ll have to appear as they desperately try to rebuild their shattered public image.
